Hi there! I'm
Michael Fu, a passionate
Interaction Designer with a special focus on
UX/UI product design. I graduated
Summa Cum Laude from
New York University with a BFA in
Interactive Media Arts and a minor in
Technology, Management, and Design.
I define myself as
an architect of dreams and practicality, helping businesses
make sense out of nonsense through my
critical and creative thinking. At
ITP-NYU, I contributed to
Google's sustainability efforts by exploring
creative solutions for upcycling used Google Pixels.
Beyond crafting products, I shape experiences for
accessibility with every innovation. I'm an
optimistic AI advocate who enjoys
bridging the unknown with possibilities.I received the
Josh Goldfaden Award in 2021, and was named to the
Dean's List for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 academic years. I got involved in various
design and research initiatives, and was awarded a
$5,000 NYU Research Grant scholarship, working on a citizen science project to
advocate for the health of
marginalized populations and
promote activism around
environmental justice.
Staying curious, is an innate characteristic of who I am.
